According to Gizmodo, the latest doozy is about the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It claims the CDC is expected to recommend that Americans begin to wear masks in everyday life in a number of days. False. The CDC currently only recommends that besides healthcare workers, only people who are sick or caring for sick individuals wear face masks.
