Melania and Barron Trump's CRINGY, Awkward, SUPER…

Model, check. Filthy Rich, check. First lady, check. High Fiver, not so much! Yep, Melania Trump lacks in the teamwork department. Okay, well maybe SHE doesn’t suck at giving high fives, but she and Barron aren’t the most in-tune mother and son duo. This glorious awkward moment came to us during Trump’s inauguration and it was AWESOME! Melanie goes in for a high-five from her son, he waits too long, she backs out, he goes in for the high five, he then backs out, she goes back in, backs out and then he goes back in full force. Yeah, it was exhausting! Barron had further bad luck with high fives later in the day, when he was left hanging by an infant. Which is pretty brutal because high fives are pretty much the only thing they know how to do. Barron trump has been ridiculed of being autistic and most recently a writer for SNL took a shot at him tweeting “Barron will be this country’s first homeschool shooter.” The writer deleted her twitter account soon after her tweet went viral and a change.org petition with 25 thousand signatures were signed to get her fired. Barron has provided much of America with entertainment during his father’s race for the White House and now inauguration. He was caught trying to catch a few zzzzs during Trump’s acceptance speech in November last year. Surprisingly though, he managed to stay awake while his dad took the oath of office! Well I know who needs to work on their high five game. Good thing Melania is back in New York with Barron to practice. What are your thoughts on the president’s son? Should he try and keep it to thumbs up like dad? Either way, let us know how you feel about the awkward high five sitch below.

Syrian Truce Talks Off to Difficult Start in…

Peace talks between the Syrian government and opposition factions, brokered by Russia and Turkey, had a difficult start in the Kazakh capital of Astana on Monday, January 23.According to reports, the government’s key negotiator, Bashar Jaafari, said the description of the Syrian government by his opposition counterpart, Mohammed Alloush, as a “terrorist entity” was a “provocative” move that was “removed from diplomacy.” The video here shows Alloush speaking during a morning session attended by all delegations. Alloush said that while opposition groups preferred talks, they remained prepared for armed conflict. Al Jazeera reported that though all sides attended the morning session, no direct talks had taken place between the Syrian rebel delegation and government officials, with each accusing each other of violating the ceasefire in Wadi Barada near Damascus.
