A blaze ignited by fireworks that were improperly extinguished has displaced multiple residents in the Stone Ridge neighborhood of Loudoun County. A two-alarm house fire ignited just before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday near Sodalite Square.

Loudoun County Fire and Rescue officials said the fire occurred on Saturday, July 4 at approximately 10:26 p.m. on 25147 Sodalite Square in Stoneridge, Va. Officials said fire and rescue units from Dulles South, Brambleton, Aldie, Moorefield, Fairfax County and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority responded to a townhouse fire and encountered significant flames coming from multiple floors in the front and rear of a middle townhome unit.

A Leesburg man has been listed in critical condition in a Fairfax hospital after being shot multiple times Friday night during a fight, according to the Leesburg police. Another Leesburg man, Jacob Timothy Kinsey, 29, has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection with the shooting, the Leesburg police said.

FOUND: 84-year-old man from Haymarket Police have located the an endangered missing 84-year-old man from Haymarket, Va. The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing, endangered adult, Frederick "Fred" Kilpatrick. The investigation revealed that Fred left his home located in the 15000 block of Berkeley Drive in Haymarket around 1:30 a.m., July 5th.
