    A car that lost control in Thursday morning's snowfall struck a pedestrian in the Lansdowne area, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. At about 6:39 a.m., the victim was unloading items from his vehicle at a work site in the 19000 block of Upper Belmont Place when the driver of a passenger car lost control of their vehicle due to the weather, a Loudoun police report stated.
