    Two men who have admitted they committed two armed robberies Thursday night are in custody after being apprehended Friday morning by Smith County Sheriff's deputies and Tyler police. Sheriff Larry Smith said the two men, identified as Jacob Lee Roper, 20, and Jacobi Ty-Wan Washington, 21, were arrested after being stopped in the 3500 block of West Erwin Street by a deputy who the vehicle the men were in matched the description of the robbers' vehicle.
