Ratings for Bakugan

Rating Description
7
Presentation The story is cheesy, but that's expected. But, the cutscenes that tell it are fairly well done given the material.
5.5
Graphics It's nowhere near the best looking game on the system, though the art style is at least handled appropriately.
6.5
Sound The voice work is in line with the franchise, and the music is, while annoying, fitting. Still, the effects can get repetitive.
6
Gameplay Too many options and mini-games in a turn that lead to what I'd barely call a fight. That might be OK if it were heavy on strategy, but it isn't.
6
Lasting Appeal The story doesn't take forever, but it is a reasonable length. After that, it's just about skirmishes or playing with a few friends (locally, there's no online play).
